You will explore the High Atlas, walk through deep gorges, sleep under the stars in wild nature, and discover the traditional life of Amazigh (Berber) villages.
Early departure from Marrakech and drive through the Atlas Mountains.
First stop at the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls, one of Morocco’s most famous natural sites.
Continue toward the beautiful Aït Bougmez Valley, also called the “Happy Valley”, surrounded by traditional villages and terraced fields.
Cross the Tizi n’Aït Imi pass (2,900m), offering breathtaking views over the M’Goun Massif.
Arrival at the Aflafal springs where you meet your trekking team (guide, cook, and muleteers). Set up your first night in nature.
A beautiful trekking day through the green M’Goun Valley.
Walk through authentic Amazigh villages surrounded by walnut trees, apple orchards, wheat fields, and traditional irrigation systems.
Lunch near Taghreft village before continuing to Imi n’Irkt, known as the “gateway to the gorges”.
Today you enter one of the highlights of the trek: the famous M’Goun Gorges.
Walk directly inside the canyon, following the river with multiple refreshing water crossings between narrow rock walls.
In the afternoon, set up camp near the peaceful Ifasfas springs surrounded by dramatic cliffs.
Continue the descent through changing landscapes, from wild canyon to green agricultural valleys.
Pass small villages and terraced fields before reaching Agerzga village.
Here, you will be welcomed by a local family and experience traditional Berber hospitality with a homemade dinner.
After breakfast, drive through the beautiful Valley of Roses, famous for its landscapes and rose products.
Continue to Ouarzazate, then visit the iconic UNESCO site Aït Benhaddou, one of the most famous ksars in Morocco and a filming location for many Hollywood movies.
Return to Marrakech in the late afternoon.
