Hello, I’m Medi the founder of Atlas Family Adventure, a local trekking and adventure company based in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
I was born and raised in the beautiful Aït Bouguemez Valley, where I grew up surrounded by mountains, Amazigh traditions, and a deep connection to nature. From a young age, I learned the trails, the culture, and the way of life that I now love to share with travelers from around the world.
My passion for guiding began with my uncle, who was a respected mountain guide for many years. After his passing, I decided to continue his work and honor his legacy by following in his footsteps. Since then, I have dedicated my life to leading trekking adventures and creating authentic journeys across Morocco.
Today, I specialize in trekking experiences in the High Atlas Mountains, Mount M’Goun, Jebel Saghro, the Roses Valley, and the Sahara Desert, as well as tailor-made cultural tours for individuals, families, and small groups.
When I founded Atlas Family Adventure, my goal was simple: to offer visitors the chance to discover the real Morocco through local eyes. Every trip is designed with care and led by a trusted team of local guides, muleteers, cooks, and drivers who share the same passion for our country.
For me, guiding is more than a profession—it’s a way of sharing my home, my culture, and the landscapes that have shaped my life. I look forward to welcoming you to Morocco and helping you create unforgettable memories
Mohamed is an experienced driver, local guide, and partner of Mehdi at Atlas Family Adventure. As Mehdi’s cousin, he has been part of the adventure from the beginning. Born and raised in the High Atlas Mountains, he knows the roads, valleys, and desert routes of Morocco by heart. With his calm personality, safe driving, and local knowledge, Mohamed helps make every journey smooth, comfortable, and authentic for our guests.
For many of our travelers, sharing tea and dinner with Brahim around the campfire becomes one of the most memorable parts of the journey.
