Arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport where your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your traditional riad in the Medina. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a first walk through the lively streets of Marrakech or relax at the riad.

Guided exploration of Marrakech including the famous Bahia Palace, Koutoubia Mosque, colorful souks, and artisan quarters. Free afternoon to enjoy the Medina, cafés, or an optional hammam experience.

Departure from Marrakech toward the High Atlas Mountains crossing beautiful mountain landscapes and the Tizi n’Tirghist Pass. Arrival in the peaceful Ait Bougmez Valley, also known as the “Happy Valley.”
Meet the mule team and begin your first hike through terraced fields, walnut groves, and traditional Amazigh villages before reaching the mountain pasture of Azib N’Ikkis.

A beautiful mountain stage with a steady ascent toward the Tizi n’Tarkedit Pass (3,400m). Stunning panoramic views open over the M’Goun Massif and surrounding High Atlas peaks.
After the pass, descend onto the wide Tarkedit Plateau, a remote grazing land used by nomadic shepherds during summer months.

The highlight of the trek. Early morning departure for the ascent of Mount M’Goun, Morocco’s second-highest summit. Follow high ridges with exceptional panoramic views stretching across the Atlas Mountains, Dades Valley, and desert plateaus.
After reaching the summit, begin a long descent toward the Oulilimt Valley and its natural springs.
Hike: 8–9 hours
Elevation gain: +1,170m
Elevation loss: -1,470m

A more relaxed trekking day through the peaceful Oulilimt Valley. Walk alongside rivers, green pastures, and seasonal nomadic camps used by Ait Atta families during transhumance periods.
Arrival at the beautiful Aflafal spring where camp is set for the night.
Hike: 4–5 hours
Accommodation: Mountain camp
Continue through fertile valleys and authentic Amazigh villages surrounded by terraced agriculture, apple orchards, and walnut trees. Observe daily mountain life while walking through one of the most scenic sections of the valley.
Arrival at Imi N’Irkt, known as “the gateway of the gorges.”
Hike: 5–6 hours
Accommodation: Mountain camp
One of the most spectacular days of the trek. Walk directly through the impressive M’Goun Gorges with towering canyon walls and refreshing river crossings.
Lunch near the Ifasfas spring before continuing toward the village of Aguerzegua.
Hike: 6 hours
Elevation loss: -500m
Accommodation: Camp or guesthouse
Transfer by vehicle through the Valley of Roses with a stop in Kelaat M’Gouna, famous for its rose products and annual Rose Festival.
Continue the drive back to Marrakech through changing landscapes from mountain valleys to red-earth plains.
Drive: 6–7 hours
Accommodation: Riad or hotel in Marrakech
Free time depending on your flight schedule before your transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departure flight.
